Prior to the launch of the LMS Virtual.Lab product range, LMS offered separate product lines for the different functional performance attribute domains: LMS SYSNOISE for vibro-acoustic design, troubleshooting and optimization; LMS DADS for multi-body simulation and the analysis of the real-life dynamic performance for mechanical systems; and LMS FALANCS for fatigue-life prediction and durability simulation.

LMS SYSNOISE

For more than 15 years, LMS SYSNOISE was the leading simulation solution for vibro-acoustic design, troubleshooting and optimization. From predicting noise radiated by vibrating structures, simulating sound inside a cavity, to estimating sound fields around structures, or calculating the structural response to an acoustic load, SYSNOISE has helped optimizing products.

LMS DADS

Based on its extensive cooperation with leading research institutes and key customers, LMS embedded its advanced multi-body simulation technology, formerly available in LMS DADS, into LMS Virtual.Lab. LMS Virtual.Lab Motion fully leverages LMS’ advanced technology in multibody analysis and wealth of advanced capabilities available in LMS DADS.

LMS FALANCS

Over the past decade, LMS FALANCS has grown into the leading virtual simulation solution for durability engineering package, offering advanced technologies to predict the critical life locations of components subject to real-life loads. LMS FALANCS offered state-of-the-art algorithms, the ability to automatically handle complex interactions and high calculation speeds.

LMS GATEWAY

LMS Gateway helps to quickly and accurately validate simulate models. Firstly, it provides direct access to dynamic analysis results from all major FE codes and testing results from LMS CADA-X. It offers CAE engineers everything they need to explore their analysis output - including comparison with other FE models, with design targets, or with experimentally obtained responses.

LMS RAYNOISE

RAYNOISE is a computer-aided acoustic design and analysis system for the architect or building acoustician. It uses advanced acoustic ray tracing methods to predict the sound field produced from multiple sources at any location inside a 3D space and in the far field outside. It automatically handles complex interactions - such as multiple reflections from different surfaces.
